Make sure to place the switch box near the door 1.2 to 1.5 meter above the floor. Before positioning check other doors and try to reach its spot from both sides. Adjust the location as necessary. Don't forget to take the width of the door trim into consideration if it is not three yet. And stop when the switch is in the most comfortable and easy to touch spot.
